- Email address — used to send order confirmations, shipping updates, and support communications.
- Shipping and billing address — used to fulfill your order and coordinate FFL transfers.
- Phone number — used to contact you regarding your order if necessary.
- Payment information — credit/debit card details are collected and processed by our payment processor (PaymentCloud) and are never stored on our servers.
- FFL dealer selection — the name and address of the FFL dealer you select for firearm transfers.
- Browser and device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Order fulfillment: To process your purchase, coordinate shipment to your FFL dealer, and provide order status updates.
- Email communications: To send transactional emails including order confirmations, shipping notifications, and support responses.
- Customer support: To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues with your orders.
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and law enforcement requests, including federal firearms regulations.
- Fraud prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.
- Site improvement: To analyze usage trends and improve our website, products, and services.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and fulfilling your orders. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it for the purposes for which it was shared.
PaymentCloud
Our payment processing provider. Your credit/debit card information is transmitted directly to PaymentCloud using industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL). We never store raw payment card data on our servers.
Resend
Our transactional email provider. We share your name and email address with Resend to deliver order confirmations, shipping updates, and other transactional communications.
Supabase
Our database and storage provider. Your order data, account information, and related records are stored securely in Supabase-hosted databases with encryption at rest.
FFL Dealers
When you select an FFL dealer for a firearm transfer, we share your name, contact information, and order details with that dealer to facilitate the transfer transaction.
5. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. All data transmitted between your browser and our site is encrypted via TLS/SSL. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including for the period required to comply with federal firearms recordkeeping regulations (a minimum of 20 years for bound book records under federal law) and other legal obligations. Order records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold about you.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as federal recordkeeping requirements).
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. You therefore have no need to opt out of any sale.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
